Punsitview Project

2014-2019/Chatham, NY

This Punsitview property flaunts custom concrete accents around every corner.

Upon entering the home, you are welcomed by a beautiful beige kitchen island with warm toffee variegation details.  It features a custom cooktop knockout and another for an undermount prep sink.  The two-tiered look is furnished by a six-inch edge return and waterfall legs on either side.  Opposite the island is a complimenting maroon concrete countertop with a cabinet-height backsplash.  The countertop was fabricated with a 1.5" thickness and smooth double drain ramp.

The master bathroom displays monochromatic grey tones from top to bottom.   The stand-up shower was outfitted in half-inch thick custom concrete panels with a sloped shower base and functional accents.  We cradled the tub in coordinating concrete and added a 3-inch backsplash to complete the look.

Both of the guest bathrooms were clad in similar fashions, but in contrasting color schemes.  One resembles a mermaid's oasis with bold green and clear recycled glass aggregates, while the other presents raw concrete combined with copper-red elements.  Both boast integral sinks and shower panels similar to the master suite, but here you will find trim pieces and decorative furnishings peeking from unsuspecting places.

This space would not be complete without three separate fireplaces cloaked in the same versatile material.  The first is surrounded in floor-to-ceiling panels with a substantial hearth - in the same maroon color as seen in the neighboring kitchen area.  The height gives the family room a feeling of grandeur and dimension.  The second features an ivory face with an ungrouted, textured look, and matching mantle.  The third fireplace can be found tucked in the master bedroom, capped in a natural stone hue with a proudly standing three-dimensional design.
